I use high quality pastel pencils, pan pastels and pastel sticks as well as the best Clairefontaine Pastelmat papers from France. My prices are based on the cost of my pastel supplies, packaging materials for shipping and my time. Prices do not include framing as that is a personal choice of the customer. Shipping charges are extra and based on where the pastel will be sent. A tracking number will be provided at the time of shipping. The finished artwork is securely packaged to prevent damage and then shipped through Canada Post.

Extra Option
On occasion I have visited my local pet store and purchased a real dog tag that was then added to the pastel artwork in place of drawing the tag with pastels. My customer’s selected the wording which I had engraved on the tag. There is a limit to the number of letters that can be engraved, depending, of course, on the size of the tag. It’s an option that can be considered and discussed before I begin the pastel work. There is an additional charge of $16.00 for this option. (Examples below)
The Fine Print
A 50% non-refundable deposit must be received either by Email Money Transfer (EMT), PayPal or cash before I will begin any work on the commission. The deposit confirms that you are serious about having the pastel done and protects me, as the artist. I will email or send a text message with a digital photo of the completed work and at that time we will discuss any small changes or corrections you feel are necessary. Pastels are somewhat forgiving and corrections can usually be accommodated. The balance will be due after the work is completed and you are happy with the results. The balance must be paid in full prior to shipping.
I reserve the right to use my pastel artwork on my website or on social media. If your pastel is to be a gift, I would not use it anywhere until after it has been gifted.
